Abstract

The pupose of this thesis is it describe Teacher‟s Questioning Strategies in Classroom Interaction at the eighth grade of MTS Riadhusshalihin Sinar Bulan Tanah Bumbu, school year 2016/2017. The subject of this thesis is teacher at the eighth grade of MTS Riadhusshalihin Sinar Bulan, Tanah Bumbu. Teacher is the person who are very influential in the teachinglearning process. Teacher contribute to the smooth process of teaching-learning both in the classroom or outside classroom. The success of a teaching and students success in achieving because the role of teacher for educating. Increasingly smart teachers in using strategies the students will be growing in terms of learning and interaction.Three strategies used by teacher here are 1. Questioning of memory usedto determine the students memory about lessons, 2. Questioning of mind used develope students thinking became more critical, 3. Questioning of understanding used to detemine students understanding of the material being studied. The use of the three strategies is also very effective to make classroom interaction because these strategies made the students to be more dare to talk, ask and argue orally. Interaction in the classroom is very important conducted by teacher and students so that the learning-teaching process is not bored, which will effect on the spirit of teacher and students. From this.thesis research it is known the way of the English teacher uses a questioning strategies in classroom interaction. The teacher should has morepractises to speak English in the classroom, especially in the daily activity. So that the teacher gived to students the questioning strategies in the classroom interaction. For the students give more attention to it and can speak English fluently.
