Abstract
particularly in rural communities. moreover researchers often found charity boxes that reads "box wakaf". However, whether the fact that the money can be classified in the category of wakaf. Diversification comprehension of community who later became a problem among the community. But Islam has set them up through the views of earlier and contemporary scholars. This type of research is the field research, based on the type and purpose, this research is a descriptive qualitative research, namely the analysis describing a situation or phenomenon with words, or sentences. Then was separated by category to get a conclusion, using the method of observation, interview and documentation. In this research, the informant is the people who are directly involved with the mosque, such as community, religious leaders, and administrators of the mosque in Tamban district Barito Kuala Regency. The results of this research , the researcher knows that problems which occurred in the middle of the community is simply the difference in the understanding of the status of charities box mosque money. Thus disagreement opinion in using, especially regarding the khatib and muazin Friday prayers salary with using the money from charity boxes. Because a part of community in Tamban district assumes that the money from the charity boxes is wakaf money. Keywords: Review, Islamic Law, wakaf.
